Interface System's CleoTM TN3270E is a software-only solution that allows your
UNIX client machines to establish connections to your IBM mainframe via TCP/IP
using TN3270E protocol. This provides your LAN-Based TCP/IP Clients with a new
level of access to the host-based information you/they need.
Interface System's CleoTM Gateway provides SNA access to mainframe data and
applications in SNA environments from UNIX enterprise environments. A combined
software-hardware solution, CleoTM Gateway enables your enterprise UNIX servers to
access legacy applications and data on IBM or IBM-compatible mainframes. CleoTM
Gateway supports SNA connectivity to IBM, Tandam and Stratus mainframe systems
and IBM AS/400 systems. Connectivity for WAN environments is supported using
SDLC or FDDI. For LAN environments, connectivity is supported using Token-Ring or
Ethernet. 3270 Application access and 3770 RJE is supported as well as APPC, CPI-
C and LUA programming interfaces.
