a) The two digit year format will compute the entries of 00 through 50 as being the twenty first century (example: 00 is 2000).b) The two digit
year format will compute the entries of 51 through 99 as being the twentieth century (example: 99 is 1999). c) ASCAR Reports will process data correctly across two centuries. d) In the event that the ASCAR software listed below fails to meet these Year 2000 standards at any time up to June
30, 2000, that ASCAR will at it's sole option, (1) provide a software enhancement to correct the problem, or (2) replace the software with a version that does meet the standards, or (3) accept the return of
the ASCAR software module that failed, and refund the purchase price for that module that failed to meet the Year 2000 standards. e)
All of the above is entirely predicated on the Operating System, Language and Hardware being Year 2000 compliant. Failure of these components can limit the operation of the ASCAR software. ASCAR
does not make any claims or warranty any Year 2000 performance should any of the third party components fail to meet these standards. |
