Formida Cellular Network Cartridge

The Formida Cellular Network Cartridge (CNC) is a revolutionary new system to centrally store and access disparate data types within a cellular organization. It runs directly on top of Oracle Spatial and is developed in 100% server-centric Java. Now organizations can achieve large-scale deployments across the enterprise harnessing the power of the CNC and the web.

Cellular networks are exploding in size and complexity. Companies must be able to centrally manage and analyze tremendous amounts of data in different types. Formida CNC supports all facets of the cellular business--from capacity planning to marketing to customer care, each department works from a centralized data repository. By storing an organization's business logic in the server, applications benefit from improved performance as well as simple extensibility of current business rules.

Formida CNC interfaces directly with industry-standard RF tools to leverage an organization's existing infrastructure. It also imports vector and grid data from popular GIS systems and data vendors. Designed for open client access, the CNC supports thin clients, HTTP, SQL*Net and CORBA. The CNC is fully integrated into the Formida Enterprise Product Suite.

The Formida CNC integrates temporal data as well, so the network can be modeled and queried over time.
