Joan Staffen is the Founder and President of JointSolutions
Marketing, a marketing consulting firm specializing in high tech partner
marketing. In 1986, she began her career by creating Apple Computer's
first marketing vehicle for software and hardware developers to reach
resellers and customers worldwide—a novel concept then, a competitive
imperative today. In the past 15 years Joan has worked with Apple, Novell,
SCO, Oracle and hundreds of partner companies, in cooperative relationships,
to meet the challenges of the competitive and interconnected technology
marketplace. Joan is a mentor and coach to those developing their partner
potential.
Joan has developed a unique
approach to business partnering by drawing on her own professional experience
and intuition. Tying together universal philosophies with practical
business sense, Joan has developed specific strategies for companies
to reap great value from their partnerships. For over 15 years, Joan
has worked side-by-side with partner program professionals to find real
solutions to their everyday problems and opportunities. It's her personal
goal to develop the partnering skills of others and create breakthrough
programs that will have long-term strategic value. You'll find Joan's
